Canada Express Entry Draw #176 | Immigration to Canada

In a historic first, Canada Express Entry Draw #176 issued 27,332 invitations to apply (ITA) to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 75 – the lowest CRS requirement and the largest ITA ever recorded in a single CEC draw.

Number of invitations issued: 27,332

Rank required to be invited to apply: 27,332th or above

Date and time of round: February 13, 2021 at 11:56:56 UTC

CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 75

Tie-breaking rule: September 12, 2020 at 15:31:40 UTC

  • If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

The 176th draw for Express Entry permanent residence candidates happened on February 13, 2021, and was a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw.

It has resulted in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points requirement for receiving an invitation to apply (ITA) to decrease as compared to the previous CEC draw on January 21, 2021.

The CRS score of the lowest-ranked invited candidate was 75, with 27,332 ITAs issued in total.

As with the previous draws, a tie-break rule was used. As a bunch of candidates have the same 75 CRS score, only those who have created their profile before September 12, 2020 at 15:31:40 UTC will get an ITA.
