Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program held a recent draw on June 6th 2019. It invited 426 candidates belonging to the provincial Express Entry as well as Occupation In-Demand categories. There were 342 invitations for the Occupation In-Demand sub-category candidates and 84 for the Express Entry candidates. The cut-off score in these two sub-categories was 75, that is 7 points lower, than the score of the SINP draw of May 15. After this draw, the total figure for the invitations, in favor of the provincial Express Entry candidates in 2019 is 898. It is 1196 in favor of the Occupation In-Demand candidates.
Express Entry
The Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category has an alignment with the Federal Express Entry System. These nominated candidates receive additional 600 CRS points, which ensure an invitation to apply to them to seek permanent residence in the country in a subsequent Express Entry Draw.
Additionally, the eligibility norms to apply for a provincial nomination in the Saskatchewan Express Entry category and also in the Occupations-in-demand category are that the candidate must possess work experience in occupation among the 19 present on the demand occupations list of the province. There is no limit regarding the number of candidates who are eligible to submit the EOI, but the candidates can have one EOI profile only.
The candidates interested in nomination in the Provincial Express Entry sub-category must submit an Expression of Interest with the Program. The Expression of Interest should include all the details like language proficiency, education, and work experience.

Moreover, the selected candidates get a score out of 100. The top scoring candidates receive the invitation to apply and also seek the eventual provincial nomination.
